NJC
Driving School was established in 2005 by Nick Chapman. Prior to becoming a driving instructor Nick taught
college for visually impaired students, many of whom had additional
disabilities. Nick made the difficult decision to leave his teaching position in
2005 in order to live closer to his family in Hampshire. It
did not take Nick very long to find a way of combining
his 2 passions
of teaching and driving to establish NJC Driving School of Portsmouth - Chichester.

What separates Nick from
most of the other driving instructors is his patience behind the wheel. Nick now uses the patience he developed from his
years of teaching the disabled when it comes to teaching a nervous
driving student.
Nick's
teaching philosophy is to not just teach students
to pass their driving test, but to also teach
them the skills of safe and competent driving that
will last for a lifetime.
Nick is a member in good standing
of the Driving Instructors Association.
